Cunninghame House

This building contains the main offices of North Ayrshire Council and is located in the Friars Croft area of Irvine adjacent to the Railway Station and Main Shopping Centre.

SPECIFICATION

Primer
Apply one coat IMPER fat drying Bitumen Primer to all prepared roof surfaces.

Vapour control Layer
Torch bond one layer IMPER Paralon 77 3mm. to primed roof surface.

Insulation "U" value 0.45.
55mm. IMPER TORCHTHANE insulation board comprising 40mm PUR/15mm. Perlite factory laminate board. Boards to be staggered and boned in hot bitumen type 95/25 with mechanical fixings at roof perimeter.

Underlayer
Torch bond one layer IMPER Paralon 77 3mm. underlay to insulation board. (100mm. side laps, 150mm. end laps.)

Cap Sheet
Torch bond layer IMPER Paralon ARD/HS PLUS Mineral Surface Cap Sheet to underlay. (100mm. side laps, 150mm. ends laps).

Gutters

(1) Fit 45mm. IMPER TORCHTHANE gutter board to existing gutter areas bonded to vapour control layer with hot bitumen 95/25.

(2) Fit 45mm. IMPER TORCHTHANE drainage board 300mm. wide along line of gutter.

(3) Fit IMPER DUCAL drain outlets to existing rainwater pipes.

(4) Torch bond one layer IMPER Paralon 77 3mm. underlay to gutter board.

(5) Torch bond one layer IMPER TEXTENE 4mm. cap sheet to underlay to gutter board.
